Magnificent Art Deco era dressing hairbrush in solid silver (circa 1920-1930), crafted by the renowned Parisian master jeweler Hénin & Cie.
The object features an elegant handle with moldings and beveled facets, characteristic of the Art Deco period, with a natural bristle filling very well preserved.
Features and hallmarks:
Jeweler: Hénin & Cie (master mark in the diamond shape “H & Cie”).
Metal: Sterling silver (official French guarantee mark Minerve head).
Era: Art Deco / Early 20th century.
Filling: Original natural bristles, very dense and in excellent condition.
Condition:
Good overall used condition. The silver mount shows light micro-scratches and very superficial minor dents, common on embossed silver dressing pieces. No loss to the filling. Beautiful original patina."
