Description from the seller
HIGHLIGHTS:
• GMC Suburban SLE 3500 equipped with a 7.4-liter Big Block V8 engine
• Rare heavily built 3500 version
• Equipped with a new battery and mechanically sound
HISTORY/OVERVIEW:
The GMC Suburban represents one of the most iconic utilitarian and cargo vehicles in American production, renowned for its imposing presence and payload capacity. This 1991 SLE 3500 is powered by the strong 7.4-liter V8 engine (454 cubic inches). The vehicle was purchased via the Catawiki platform and presents itself as a project to restore, having stood idle for a long period. Registration documentation, original license plates, and maintenance history are not available. Only one key is provided.
BODYWORK/PAINT:
The bodywork shows signs of age and wear, with visible cosmetic marks. There are scratches, small dents, prior welds, and various rusty spots. Some exterior aesthetic parts and seals are broken or detached. The tailgate lock is currently blocked and the tailgate won’t open. The tires are in good condition.
INTERIOR:
The cabin remains in reasonable condition but requires targeted restorations. Upholstery is damaged, parts are worn, and interior panels are detached. The headliner has come loose and needs to be repaired. Instrumentation and accessories show issues: the automatic shifter indicator sometimes doesn’t show the correct gear, and Check engine lights appear sporadically on the onboard computer. The washer pump, the left rear window lifter, and the horn are not functioning. Some non-original accessories have been installed.
MECHANICS:
The vehicle is equipped with the 7.4-liter V8 engine and is mechanically sound, though it requires general maintenance and an in-depth service due to prolonged storage. Starting is sometimes difficult, but the car has a new battery. No owner’s manual or service history is available.
DOCUMENTS:
The car is sold without registration papers and without plates.
Delivery options can be arranged to a home address both in Italy and abroad, with costs borne by the buyer. The car is viewable and collectible by appointment. Prospective buyers are advised to view the vehicle before making an offer. Costs related to documentation or transportation are the buyer’s responsibility.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
