This mantel clock houses a piece of clock history. The Gustav Becker clockworks factory was taken over in the 1920s by Uhrwerkenfabrik Junghans. This explains why the movement was made by Gustav Becker and the round gong on a rod bears the logo of Uhrwerkenfabrik Junghans.

The wooden case is in good condition and is missing the back. The cabinet door contains two panes of glass and has a bead trim on the left and right for decoration.

The movement was made by UhrwerkeFabrik Gustav Becker in Silesia. The movement has undergone light maintenance and functions well. Every half hour it is struck on the gong mounted on a rod. Remarkably, two different keys are required to wind the springs. These are therefore part of this lot.

Deze tafelklok herbergt een stukje klokgeschiedenis. De uurwerkenfabriek van Gustav Becker is in de jaren 20 van de vorige eeuw overgenomen door Uurwerkenfabriek Junghans. Dit verklaart dat het uurwerk gemaakt is door Gustav Becker en de rondgong op staaf het logo heeft van uurwerkenfabriek Junghans.

De houten kast is in goede staat en mist de achterkant. In de kastdeur zitten twee stukken glas en heeft links en rechts een kralenrand ter versiering. 

Het uurwerk is gemaakt door Uurwerkenfabriek Gustav Becker in Silesia. Het uurwerk heeft klein onderhoud gehad en functioneert goed. Elk hal uur wordt op de rondgong op een standaard geslagen. Opmerkelijk is dat voor het opwinden van de veren twee verschillende sleutels nodig zijn. Deze maken dan ook deel uit van dit kavel.

Het kavel kan in Almere worden opgehaald. Opsturen vindt zorgvuldig ingepakt én aangetekend plaats.
