Description from the seller

Exceptionally decorative Le Dauphin table lamp, executed in a stylish combination of deep emerald green, gold-colored accents, black and silvery gray. A striking lamp with a luxurious appearance, where especially the richly adorned foot and the graphic lampshade immediately catch the eye.

The lamp has a generous, elegantly rounded foot with a beautiful deep green, marled and high-gloss finish. Through the different nuances in the green, the surface gains depth. Depending on the light incidence, the color ranges from dark forest green to bright emerald green.

Particularly beautiful is the botanical relief decoration applied around the foot. The relief consists of stylized leaves and fern-like shapes that seem to be embedded in the surface. Through the relief and the glossy finish a lively effect arises: from every viewing angle different details become visible. The detailed photos give a good impression of this special texture.

At both the top and bottom the green foot is finished with glossy gold-colored metal elements. These form a nice contrast with the deep green and give the lamp the elegant and somewhat glamorous look that characterizes decorative Le Dauphin lighting.

Lampshade

The lamp is offered with the depicted large, slightly tapered lampshade. It has broad vertical bands in alternating black and silvery gray, finished with a gray piping along the top and bottom edges.

The combination of the classic green foot with the pronounced graphic shade makes the lamp particularly decorative. The interior of the shade has a warm gold/beige tint. When the lamp is lit, this interior provides a pleasant warm light reflection and a cozy glow around the lamp.

The lamp is therefore not only suitable as a light source but also forms a strong decorative object when switched off.

Style and application

Thanks to the combination of emerald green, gold-colored details and the black-silver-gray shade this table lamp fits excellently within a wide range of interiors. Think, for example, of a Hollywood Regency, vintage, eclectic, maximalist or classic interior.

The lamp is especially striking on a large sideboard, coffee table, end table or console. Also as a solitary eye-catcher in a living room, bedroom, study or hotel lobby the object has great presence.

The photos with the bottle are added to give an impression of the lamp's generous proportions; the bottle is not part of the lot.

Technique

The lamp is equipped with an electric cord with a foot switch. The lighting has been tested and functions. In the photos the lamp is shown both on and off.

The light source can be easily replaced. Any light source visible in the photos can best be regarded as illustrative and need not be part of the lot.
