Important specimen of quartz characterized by rich crystallization, with numerous prismatic crystals of very different sizes that develop on the matrix in multiple directions.
The larger crystals, well-formed with well-defined terminations, dominate the sample and are accompanied by a dense growth of thinner, elongated crystals that occupy the intermediate spaces, creating a structured ensemble particularly pleasant to observe. The surfaces show the characteristic striations of quartz, while several crystals exhibit good transparency, particularly evident in the terminations, which allow the internal structure to be appreciated and create interesting plays of light.
On the back and in some areas of the matrix there are also mineralizations of dark green color, which add a pleasant color contrast to the whole.
As visible in the photographs, some crystals show chipping or breaks at the terminations.
A specimen of considerable size, with rich and scenographic crystallization, very pleasing also as a display piece.
