AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Rare pair of large three-light candelabra in Rosenthal porcelain, belonging to the famous “Maria” series, dating to 1938. The Maria series, introduced by Rosenthal in 1916 and dedicated by Philipp Rosenthal to his wife Maria, is one of the longest-lived and most recognizable productions of the German manufactory. The candelabra feature a distinctive geometric and architectural structure, composed of a succession of angular and lozenge elements, a hallmark of the Art Deco taste. The base is embellished with the typical decorative relief of the Maria series, while the entire composition is enhanced by a significant metallic-effect decoration, applied to the candle holders, to the geometric profiles and to the relief of the base, creating a strong contrast with the white porcelain.
