Description from the seller
Collection of 15 vintage pocket watch chains (Albert style and variants)
Lot of 15 pocket watch chains in silver-toned metal (silver appearance / plated), from different eras and makeups, typical of the European and American watchmaking tradition from the late 19th century – the first half of the 20th century.
Different chain link models: curb (boxy), figaro, wheat, rope, rectangular/oval links, fine long links, and more robust or thinner variants.
• Some with a classic T-bar for fastening to a waistcoat (Albert chain).
• Others with rings, spring hooks, swivels and spring- or hook-ended terminals.
• Varying lengths (from relatively short to longer), suitable both for traditional pocket watches and for modern uses (necklaces, accessories).
• Mixed finishes and styles: some more glossy and geometric, others more worked and decorative.
