Fine & Collectible French 950 Silver 5-Piece Serving Set – Minerve Hallmark, Circa 1920–1935

Rare. Elegant. Authentic French craftsmanship.

A remarkable five-piece French serving set dating approximately from 1920–1935, featuring exceptionally large and richly decorated 950/1000 silver handles with French Minerve hallmarks.

The set includes:

- Large serving spoon
- Large serving fork
- Large meat / poultry serving fork
- Large serving knife
- Cake / pastry server

The handles are beautifully worked with floral, ornamental and geometric decoration, giving the ensemble an impressive and harmonious presence.

Paris-Marked Handcrafted Steel Blade

The large serving knife features a substantial handcrafted Parisian steel blade, marked “PARIS”.

Its original tip and complete cutting edge remain remarkably well preserved. Decades of use and sharpening have created a graceful natural curvature — a genuine mark of its history and craftsmanship.

Original Gilding & Presentation Box

Three pieces retain original gold-plated decoration, with one particularly well preserved.

The cake / pastry server comes with its original fitted presentation box.

Good antique condition with authentic signs of age and use. The knife blade is particularly well preserved.

950/1000 French silver. Minerve hallmarks. Handcrafted Paris steel. Original gilding. Original box.

A distinctive and highly collectible example of early 20th-century French tableware — elegant, substantial and full of character.
