Mid‑century modern Diehl Electro ceramic wall clock from 1951, in excellent condition, made in Germany of earthenware with an electric 1.5V battery movement and a 23 cm diameter by 6 cm depth, weighing about 950 g.

Diehl Electro – Vintage Ceramic Wall Clock – 1951 – Mid-Century Modern
Striking Diehl Electro ceramic wall clock, made in Germany and dating from 1951. A beautiful example of early Mid-Century Modern / Atomic Age design, featuring a light blue ceramic case, white horizontal band and minimalist dial.
The reverse is marked model 927/425 and 4651, indicating production in the 46th week of 1951. The dial is signed “Diehl electro – Made in Germany.”
The clock retains its original electromechanical Diehl Electro movement, powered by a single 1.5V battery and equipped with a fine adjustment for accuracy. The domed glass and chrome bezel add to its distinctive period character.
