1950s Junghans Ceramic Wall Clock – Model 19/5249 - Tested and working - In Excellent Condition

A striking original Junghans mechanical wall clock, model 19/5249, dating from the early 1950s. The sculptural ceramic case combines pastel mint green and cream white, complemented by a brass bezel, convex glass and elegant brass hands.

A wonderful example of early Mid-Century Modern / 1950s German design, with a highly distinctive colour combination and period styling.

Period: Approximately 1950–1955 (approximately 71–76 years old)
Material: Glazed ceramic, glass, brass and metal
Movement: Mechanical, 8-day wind-up
Winding: Original metal butterfly key included
Dimensions: approx. 19 × 22.5 × 5 cm
Weight: approx. 1.15 kg

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with minor age-related wear to the rear metal housing. The ceramic case, dial and glass remain attractive and well preserved. The movement shows its original regulation markings. Please study the photographs for the overall condition.
