Bistro table base in forged cast iron, Italian-made, dating to the first half of the 20th century.
The structure consists of two side posts cast in iron, with a central spindle, scroll decorations and double-ended curled feet, joined by a flat iron top frame and two crossed bracing struts. The casting is sharp, with the decorations clearly legible on both sides.
The top frame features the original holes for attaching the tabletop, allowing the installation of a marble, stone, glass, or wood top according to the buyer's taste.
Base sold without the top.
Conditions: solid and perfectly stable structure, free of cracks, repaired welds, or missing parts. Black paint with patina and age-related wear, with some areas of surface oxidation. The piece is presented in its original used condition, ready to be left as is or for any conservation work.
The base is completely disassemblable: it is shipped disassembled and individually packed piece by piece, with immediate reassembly possible using only the bolts.
