This imposing Murmillo-style gladiator helmet combines an exceptionally wide protective rim, tall crest, and fully perforated face protection with rich figurative relief decoration around the helm rim.

The deep dark green to almost black patina is accentuated by subtle blue-green verdigris effects. This makes the reliefs stand out beautifully and gives the helmet a dark, powerful, historically inspired appearance.

Frontally the helmet looks impressive and almost intimidating. From the side, the wide protective rim, relief decorations, and sculptural profile come fully into their own.

The presentation is enhanced by the handmade stand carved from solid natural wood. The heavy squared foot provides excellent stability, while the specially shaped bulb-shaped helmet support holds the helmet carefully and securely.
