DESCRIPTION
The Minolta AF Macro 100mm F2.8 focuses all the way to 1:1 life size without any adapter, and it has long been regarded as one of the sharpest lenses Minolta ever built for the A mount. The 100mm working distance keeps the camera far enough back not to shade the subject or frighten insects, and at F2.8 it doubles as an excellent portrait lens with very smooth out-of-focus rendering. It fits Minolta AF film bodies and Sony A-mount digital bodies alike, and adapts readily to Sony E-mount.
