Many of these molds were originally designed by leading manufacturers in Thuringia, such as Fasold & Stauch.

Note the refined modeling of the iconic gray-and-white Pompadour hairstyle and the gracefully formed hands that reach elegantly toward the bust. The "Arms Away" design: unlike cheaper one-piece molds, this figure has separately molded arms with a gap between the arms and the torso. This required more complex molds and indicates high quality.
