Vintage kid microscope with metal box from about 1960. Tested and perfectly working.
The box is in very good condition structurally and cosmethically . The beautiful scene is laquered on the tin metal box, and is perfect and intact ! The microscope is still in its original packaging and carrying/shipping cardboard, with the factory inscriptions.
For its exceptional condition it makes a piece for collectors of vintage toys, microscopes and/or scientific instruments.
The microscope is very good, with 3 objectives for a magnification up to 400X . I tested it with a slide and can see the biological sample
This microscope is Made in USA by Skil Craft. , it is complete with electric illumination and mirror, (illumination not tested because it is in 110V), and the box is still full of tubes with substances and other small boxes for slides, labels etc..
This is perfect for collection of vintage microscopes, or for use by a student, or to carry the microscope ouside for observation in the field.
It is also very good for collectors of vintage toys, as it is in great shape.
