AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This French table radio has been fully restored and is ready for daily listening pleasure.
Probably a model from 1938-1939, given the tube arrangement and the Paris PTT transmitter that was taken out of service in 1940 still listed on the dial glass.
The beautifully variegated Bakelite cabinet and knobs were deeply cleaned and protected with clear high-gloss varnish (maintenance-free). Unfortunately, after three attempts there remain a few, normally inconspicuous, “fish-eye” spots in the lacquer (See photos: here they are particularly noticeable due to the direct lighting and angle).
There is a spot with faded text on the tuning scale.
Due to irreparable defects in the original AM section, the unit was converted into a 2-watt tube amplifier, driven by either:
- A solid-state FM tuner with very good reception via a telescopic antenna (87.5-108 MHz) and poor to moderate reception on medium wave with built-in ferrite antenna (therefore offered as “not working” on medium wave);
- A Bluetooth receiver (not HiFi);
All resistors, capacitors and semiconductors are new.
Since it is powered directly from the mains, there are no external inputs and/or outputs.
Dial illumination with LED-E10-6V;
Tubes: CY2-CBL6-ECH3-EBF2 (tested +90%).
W230×H180×D160 – 2.6 KG
