Large Italian six-door wardrobe, characterized by a commanding presence and rich architectural decoration.

The piece features six paneled doors with shaped frames and undulating decorations, a monumental upper molded and decorated cornice, and a lower frieze with a curved profile and carved ornamental motifs. It is also characterized by elegant contoured feet.

The decorative style and form of the cabinet recall the Louis XV/Rococo taste, while the structural characteristics can be traced to the Italian artisanal tradition. The period is estimated to be the 19th century based on stylistic and construction features.

The wardrobe is made of wood and finished with a distinctive cream/ivory painted surface, today distinguished by a pleasant patina and signs of aging.

Internally the piece is divided into several compartments and shelves and has been used as a wardrobe and storage cabinet.
