Lincoln Continental Mark VI, 1983, a classic American luxury coupé.
Description from the seller
IN RISALTO:
• Iconic 1983 Lincoln Continental Mark VI equipped with a V8 engine
• Elegant and imposing American-made luxury coupé from the 1980s
• Running vehicle, equipped with a new battery
STORY/PANORAMA:
The Lincoln Continental Mark VI represents one of the supreme expressions of American automotive luxury in the early 1980s, characterized by squared-off lines, high-level comfort, and a rich onboard equipment. This 1983 example was purchased on this platform years ago and has subsequently stood stationary for a considerable period. The vehicle is running and is provided with a single key. Vehicle registration documents are not available and the car is without plates.
BODYWORK/PAINT:
The bodywork is in normal overall condition, with signs of age and visible aesthetic wear. Scratches, marks, a few dents, and some spots showing the beginnings of rust are present. Some external body components, such as trim and related parts, are detached or broken. The operation mechanism of the retractable exterior lights tends to seize and requires adjustment.
INTERIOR:
The cockpit retains the original layout but requires restorations and specific interventions. The air vent on the upper dashboard is broken and several internal parts are detached or damaged. In terms of equipment and accessories, the air conditioning, internal ventilation, power windows, and windshield wipers are not functioning. The warning light for the headlights on the instrument panel is on, and some interior buttons and actuators are not working.
MECHANICS:
The car is mechanically running and is equipped with a newly installed battery. Having stood idle for several years, it requires general maintenance and a full service before being put back on the road. The service book is not present, nor is there a documented history of past maintenance.
DOCUMENTS:
The car is sold without registration documents and without plates.
Delivery can be arranged domestically in Italy or abroad, with costs borne by the buyer. The car is viewable and collectible by appointment. It is advisable to view the vehicle before making an offer. Costs related to registration or transport are charged to the buyer."} }

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
