The chair is made from solid oak wood, typical for that era.
Characteristic turned or baluster-shaped legs and stretchers.
The chair once had a woven Viennese weave seating surface, which was replaced by a padded fabric cover in a style that matches.
The backrest features several horizontal rails with fine turned elements.
In the Defaka, the carved upper finial of the backrest is especially decorative.

Antiker Gründerzeit Holzstuhl aus der Epoche des späten Historismus um 1880/1900. 
Der Stuhl besteht aus für diese Zeit typischen massivem Eichenholz. 
Charakteristische gedrechselte beziehungsweise balusterförmige Beine und Sprossen. 
Der Stuhl hatte einst eine geflochtene Wiener Geflecht Sitzfläche, die durch einen gepolsterten stilistisch passenden Stoffbezug ersetzt wurde. Die Rückenlehne ist mit mehreren Querstreben mit feinen gedrechselten Elementen ausgestattet. 
In dem Defaka Besonders dekorativ der geschnitzte obere Abschluss der Rückenlehne.
