16th-century plate. Ceremonial parade plate measuring 37.5 cm, unknown manufacture (perhaps Deruta). The rim shows the image of a profile of a girl in Renaissance dress and the inscription 'LA CICILIA B. [ELLA]'. On the back the date 1543 followed by a word (pictus?). The rim is decorated with foliate scrolls and berries in cobalt blue and light blue. Firing defect in the bottom right (image 4). On the reverse a small chip barely visible from the front (image 7) and a through crack (images no. 3 and 8). The photos attest to the condition of the artifact. SHIPPING ONLY TO THE EU.
