Important specimen of natural fluorite from Balochistan, Pakistan, characterized by large interconnected crystals of gray-lilac color, with translucent zones that allow observation of the mineral's internal structure.
The surfaces show pronounced stepwise growth and particular forms of natural dissolution. Among the crystals there is a white mineral material, partly compact and partly encrusting, which penetrates some cavities and is visible even through the more transparent portions of the fluorite. Its composition has not been analyzed and is therefore left unidentified.
The cavities, irregularities and seemingly corroded areas are part of the specimen's natural formation and create an interesting contrast between the gray-translucent fluorite and the white mineralizations.
