German Jugendstil serving dish by Seybold & Hirschauer of Hanau, dating from 1920–1930.
The piece consists of an openwork 800 silver frame with two high scrolling handles and a removable clear crystal insert. The silver mount is decorated with floral garlands, vertical openwork and a central blank cartouche.
The silver frame bears the Seybold & Hirschauer maker’s mark and the “800” silver fineness mark.
