Description from the seller
Napoleonic III Era French Divan in Gilded Wood in Louis XV Style

The structure features flowing, sinuous lines with scroll armrests and a shaped front apron, richly decorated with floral motifs and carved volutes. The skirt is embellished with central and lateral carvings that highlight the craftsmanship of the piece, while the legs are curved and slender, typical of the Rococo taste revived in the period. The upholstery, reupholstered in fine San Leucio silk with a floral motif in warm red and gold tones, further enhances the elegance and prestige of the item.
