Fantastic handmade double bedspread crocheted in exquisite pure cotton yarn in écru color. This type of bedspread was commissioned for important home linen ensembles; its creation required more than a year of work. The bedspread tells an ancient story of patience, mastery, and timeless beauty; every interweaving contains a fragment of memory. The photos do not fully capture the elegance and beauty of the bedspread. Dimensions: 260 cm x 240 cm. Never used. Being an antique bedspread with a century-long history, it shows the normal signs of wear; some very small browning of the cotton does not alter its beauty and function (see the last two photos).
