Liquor set (7) - Glass

Charming hand painted vintage French liqueur service.

The service is made from vivid chartreuse-green transparent glass and comprises a large decanter with its original spherical stopper, five matching footed cordial or liqueur glasses, and a circular serving tray.

The decanter and glasses are decorated with delicate hand-painted floral motifs consisting of white daisies with orange centres, slender stems and stylised leaves. The cheerful botanical decoration and striking green colour are characteristic of French decorative glass of the period.

The decanter has a rounded body, elongated neck and matching glass stopper with spherical finial. The small glasses have rounded bowls on short stems with circular feet. The matching tray is made from the same green glass and completes the presentation.
