An exceptionally elegant and richly decorated pair of porcelain cachepots of outstanding quality.
On the underside, the pieces feature the distinctive blue S-monogram of Sèvres set in a diamond shape. The bowls have a striking scalloped edge finished with purple ornamentation and gilded accents. The body features a highly detailed, hand-painted portrayal of birds on branches in a deep purple hue, complemented by a vivid pink lower rim with stylized green leafy motifs. The two sturdy, integrated handles are generously accented with gold leaf. This rare two-piece set is in excellent condition, with the clear glaze and fine gilding preserved. A valuable and imposing collector’s item that looks stunning on a festively laid table or in a classic display cabinet.
The cachepots are 14 cm high, 29.5 cm wide and have a depth of 20 cm per pot.
