It is a beautiful charoite, natural, genuine, unaltered. Charoi te has a very intense and special purple color with the unique pattern of swirls, feathers and needles. There can be patches of stars in black (Aegirine), orange (Tinaksite) and also transparent crystals (Microcline Feldspar). Its rare color change makes the charoite look very lively, turning the piece into an exclusive decorative object.
Charoite was discovered in 1978 and is a very rare mineral found only in Siberia, Russia. It is named after the Chara River, which flows past the mountain where it is mined.
