All three dolls are old pieces and are believed to date approximately from the Taisho to early Showa period (circa 1910s–1930s). The exact age and makers are unknown.
The largest doll measures approximately 45 cm in height and wears a vivid red kimono decorated with traditional Japanese motifs. It has black hair and a classically styled Ichimatsu doll face.
