Gemoest maple veneered writing box with inlay of rosewood, rosewood (palissander) and brass. The interior with various compartments and a writing area with green felt. Napoleon III period. Including key. 

In good condition. Small damages and restorations overall. The lid and the flap are a bit warped, and in particular the veneer on the writing flap shows some craquelure. The lock is working. See also the photos that are part of the description.

Gemoest esdoorn gefineerde schrijfkist met inlegwerk van rozenhout, palissander en messing. Het interieur met diverse vakken en schrijfgedeelte met groen vilt. Napoleon III période. Inclusief sleutel. 

In goede staat. Kleine beschadigingen en restauraties over het geheel. De deksel en de klep zijn een beetje getrokken en met name het fineer op de schrijfklep vertoont wat craquelé. Het slot is werkend. Zie ook de foto’s die deel uitmaken van de omschrijving.
