Imposing regional French cabinet-clock, probably from Bresse, made of solid wood with figured wood veneer.
The piece features a rich Louis XV-style architectural façade: an undulating cornice, shaped panels, carved floral motifs, volutes and decorative insets. The upper section includes several open shelves as well as two small side cabinets. The lower section opens with two drawers and two large doors, with a central decorative panel.
In the center rises a curved clock case integrated into the sideboard. It houses an antique movement with an enamel dial showing Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. The dial bears the inscription:
