PEDRO DURÁN – «QUEEN MARY» ALARM CLOCK – STERLING SILVER 925 – WITH ORIGINAL CASE AND DOCUMENTATION

Elegant desk alarm clock model «Reina Mercedes» (Queen Mercedes), made by the prestigious Spanish silversmithing firm Pedro Durán, founded in 1886.

Features an elaborate front in sterling silver 925, contrasted and signed by Pedro Durán, with classical relief decoration and a deep blue background. At the bottom edge the contrast «925», the amphora emblem, and the house signature are clearly visible.

The back and the folding stand are made of varnished wood. It also retains the original labels of «silver signed» and «Duralado», a protective treatment aimed at preserving the silver’s brightness and reducing oxidation.

The dial, ivory-toned, carries Arabic numerals and black hands. It incorporates a quartz movement and alarm function. Both the clock and the alarm work correctly.

Condition:

Very good overall condition, with slight superficial signs typical of use and the passage of time. The silver retains an excellent shine, with no dents or significant damage; the dial, the blue background and the wood are well preserved. The case shows minor exterior storage marks.
