Description from the seller
Side table, planter in Mid-Century Modern style, 50s–60s.
Original vintage planter, a low auxiliary table in the Mid-Century Modern style, dating from the 1950s–1960s.
The furniture has the characteristic light, slender form of that period. The rectangular top with rounded corners finished with a light laminate imitating wood grain. The edge is adorned with a metal strip with a black band, and the whole is supported by four angled, narrowing wooden legs.
Due to its low height and proportions, the item is intended as a planter, placed under a window and used for displaying plants. It can also be used as a low coffee table, an auxiliary table, or a decorative element in a vintage, retro, Mid-Century, or modernist interior.
The item is preserved in its original vintage condition. Natural signs of time are visible. It has not undergone a thorough renovation, thus retaining its authentic patina. The condition and details are visible in the photos.
