Description
Beautiful Aluminor counterbalanced desk lamp, designed by André Lavigne and dating from the 1960s/70s.
This elegant French lamp features a chrome-plated metal structure, a round burgundy lacquered metal base and a matching lampshade. Its articulated counterbalanced arm allows the position and direction of the light to be easily adjusted.
The combination of burgundy, chrome and black gives the lamp a distinctive look typical of French industrial design from this period.
The lamp is entirely original, including the lampshade, articulated arm, counterweight mechanism, base, wiring and switch.
Condition: very good overall vintage condition.
