The Cine NIC was the first motion picture projector designed to be used by children. Marketed in 1931, it was invented by the brothers Tomàs and Josep Maria Nicolau Griñó of Barcelona.
The simple operating mechanism, which we can see in this model, was used in variations that were manufactured until 1974, when the factory closed. Cine NIC Sonor, Cine NIC TV and Super Cine NIC were some of the most famous models.
