Description
A remarkable lot of vintage Dutch wall tiles from Westraven, Utrecht, sourced from unused old stock (New Old Stock).
The tiles have never been laid and therefore remain in their original unused condition. The lot contains characteristic blue-and-white Dutch windmill decor motifs, with several mills in rural landscapes. The individual scenes together form a beautiful and typically Dutch whole.
Several tiles on the back bear the characteristic Westraven factory mark.
Condition: unused vintage condition with normal signs from long-term storage. Locally there may be slight discoloration, fine crazing, and small edge or glaze irregularities.
