Original and antique brass and wrought-iron colander, also called a skimmer, for pasta, frying, or other uses.

These items were essential to ancient rustic cooking; they were part of the range of old perforated and non-perforated ladles, produced in various sizes.

Entirely handmade with a wrought-iron handle and copper rivets.

The end of the handle is a hand-hammered scroll, for mounting.

Also ideal as wall decor.

Excellent condition and pleasant antique patinas.
