Very rare mask!! Rarely seen on the market.
Old Mwana Pwo (beautiful young girl) mask of the Bundu people living in Congo.
Ex collection of the late Walter Steinberg, a wellknown collector in both UK and USA.
Now in my personal Dutch collection.

Material:
Wood, beads, metal, raffia, textile, cowry shells, buttons, bone and vegetal material.

Unusual scarifications on the cheeks.
Furrowed brow, never seen before.
