Description: a finely crafted box on four graceful feet, originating from Persia and produced during the Pahlavi period (circa 1960-1979).

The lid is richly pierced and decorated with a traditional Tree of Life, surrounded by birds and animals. The side panels feature finely chiselled and engraved animal figures in relief, executed in the characteristic Persian style.
