Description from the seller
IN RISALTO:
• 4x4 all-wheel drive with low-range gears
• Vehicle with mechanicals featuring a 5.7-liter V8 petrol engine delivering 157 kW
• Original interior in leather and fabric/wool, excellently preserved
• Fully checked and with rust-proofed bodywork
HISTORY/PANORAMIC:
The GMC K1500 represents a classic example of a high-performance, rugged American pickup from the 1980s and 1990s. The K-series, characterized by four-wheel drive (4x4), combines a large payload with outstanding off-road capability thanks to the proven 5.7-liter V8 petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission with low gears. This 1989 example is presented in overall very good condition, well preserved, and without need for structural welding interventions.
BODYWORK/PAINT:
The bodywork, entirely steel, is in good overall condition. An anti-rust treatment has been carried out and the structure does not require welding interventions. The paintwork is well preserved, with the pickup bed having undergone a few touch-ups. Small aesthetic defects are noted in the photos, including a scratch on the hood and one on the lower bumper. The exterior mirrors need to be replaced. The windows and glass surfaces are intact. The tires are original and, for safety reasons, replacement before road use is recommended.
INTERIOR:
The interior is original, very well preserved, and features seats with a fabric/wool and leather mixed upholstery. The cabin headliner is intact but needs to be repositioned and tautened for a flat aesthetic. The electrical system and onboard utilities are functional, including instrumentation, ventilation, lighting, windows, and the radio system.
MECHANICS:
The mechanics are in excellent condition and have been carefully checked, including on a lift. The 5.7-liter V8 engine starts reliably both cold and hot, with no anomalies detected. The 5-speed manual transmission, the 4x4 drive system, and the low-range gears operate correctly. The vehicle has recently undergone a service. Before road use, a complete routine service together with tire replacement is recommended.
DOCUMENTS:
Vehicle provided with valid documentation for circulation.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
