Portico clock - Wood, Brass - 1850-1900

Antique French portico clock in Empire style.
The clock is made of blackened wood with fire-gilt ornaments.
The ring around the dial and the pendulum are richly decorated.
The movement is signed M.B., which stands for Manufacture de Bethune. The movement functions perfectly. The clock shows light signs of wear, appropriate for its age.
A wooden foot at the rear is partly broken; see the last photo.
