Refined 925 silver boudoir box / jewelry box with engraved floral decoration. Early 20th century.
Unreadable English silver hallmarks.
The box is round in shape and decorated with floral motifs and a central engraved cartouche. The lid features an upper velvet padded section, a characteristic typical of feminine toilet accessories from the first decades of the 20th century.
The interior is lined with gathered silk along the edge.
This type of object was often used as:
