Description from the seller
Natural untreated ruby from Burma (Myanmar), weighing 2.089 carats, accompanied by a Bellerophon Gemlab gemmological report.
An attractive natural Burmese ruby with a vivid red to slightly pinkish-red appearance depending on the lighting conditions.
The Bellerophon Gemlab report confirms:
• Gemstone: Natural Ruby
• Weight: 2.089 ct
• Origin: Burma (Myanmar)
• Treatment: No indications of any treatment
• Colour: Red
• Colour stability: Stable
• Transparency: Transparent
• Fluorescence: Strong
• Shape: Oval
• Measurements: 7.64 × 6.54 × 4.57 mm
• Report: Bellerophon Gemlab No. 854564
• Report date: 17 November 2025
The combination of Burmese origin, weight above 2 carats and absence of treatment makes this an especially interesting natural ruby for collectors and lovers of untreated coloured gemstones.
The stone displays strong fluorescence, as stated on the laboratory report, contributing to its lively appearance under suitable lighting.
As expected for a natural ruby, natural inclusions and internal characteristics are visible, particularly under magnification. These have not been concealed or digitally removed from the photographs.
The photographs show the actual gemstone offered for sale and have been taken from several angles and under normal photographic lighting to provide an accurate representation of its appearance.
The gemstone will be supplied together with its original Bellerophon Gemlab report.
Please refer to the photographs and laboratory report for a complete assessment of the gemstone.
