Elegant biface made by Homo neanderthalensis from quartzite. Cortex residues present.
Dating: Mousterian, 150,000-70,000 years old
Origin: Vailly Sur Aisne, Northern France
Found in the local gravel pits along the Aisne river in the late 19th - early 20th century.
Very nice patina. Intact.
