DESCRIPTION:
Elegant oval wall mirror in Luigi XVI / Neoclassical style, dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century.
Features and details:
Material: Hand-carved wood with original dark patinated finish.
Decorative elements: Refined upper pediment carved in the shape of a fluted bow (love knot) with scrolls and decorative curls echoed also on the lower base.
Dimensions: Total height about 80 cm (including the carved pediment), oval shape.
Conditions: Good vintage condition. It shows a natural and fascinating patina of time and light signs of wear on the wood surface attesting to its authenticity. The mirror is preserved with an original-era protective rear back panel.
A piece of furniture of great charm, ideal for classic, vintage settings or as a contrasting element in modern interiors.
