Large Algerian Bou Saadi knife (khodmi) with horn grip and old sheath, c. 1900–1940
Notably large traditional Algerian Bou Saadi knife, originating from the Bou Saâda knifemaking tradition and dating from the early part of the 20th century.
Equipped with a long, single-edged steel blade with a geometrically worked ricasso/bolster. The light, nicely patinated horn grip is affixed with three metal rivets.
Complete with an old wooden sheath, covered with leather/skin and finished with a perforated metal end cap.
