Richly decorated with images, kirin, a sacred mythical creature believed to be more powerful than a dragon or a phoenix. It has a single horn on a dragon’s head, the hooves of a horse, the body of a deer, and a curling lion’s tail.

Vase is pristine, no restorations.
The underside of the ceramic object shows a six-character mark, which presumably reads "大清光緒年製" (Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi), indicating the reign period of Emperor Guangxu (1875–1908) of the Qing dynasty.

Rijk versierd met afbeeldingen kerin
kirin, een heilig mythisch wezen dat als krachtiger wordt beschouwd dan een draak of een feniks. Het heeft een enkele hoorn op de kop van een draak, de hoeven van een paard, het lichaam van een hert en een golvende leeuwenstaart.

Vaas is puntgaaf, geen restauraties.
De  onderzijde van het keramisch object toont een zeskaraktermerkr, dat vermoedelijk leest als "大清光緒年製" (Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi), wat duidt op de regeerperiode van keizer Guangxu (1875–1908) uit de Qing-dynastie
