The sculpture depicts an elf running forward on an uneven, rocky ground. She wears a light garment, holds a braided basket in her hands, and looks slightly upward with her head held high.

Especially striking are her large, delicately structured butterfly wings, which are intricately worked. The entire figure is characterized by a two-tone patina: while the body and dress are rendered in a glossy, warm bronze tone, the wings, hair, and base display a greenish verdigris hue (green patina), giving the sculpture an antique character.

Die Skulptur zeigt eine Elfe, die in einer Vorwärtsbewegung auf einem unebenen, felsigen Untergrund läuft. Sie trägt ein leichtes Gewand, hält einen geflochtenen Korb in den Händen und blickt mit erhobenem Haupt leicht nach oben. 

Besonders auffällig sind ihre großen, filigran strukturierten Schmetterlingsflügel, die detailliert ausgearbeitet sind.Die gesamte Figur zeichnet sich durch eine zweifarbige Patina aus: Während der Körper und das Kleid in einem glänzenden, warmen Bronzeton gehalten sind, weisen die Flügel, Haare und der Sockel eine grünliche Verdigris-Tönung (Grünspan-Optik) auf, die der Skulptur einen antiken Charakter verleiht.
