Antique dental extraction key – Dentist instrument from the 18th/19th century – Authentic
Rare antique dental extraction key, instrument used by surgeons-dentists and tooth pullers between the late 18th century and the mid-19th century, before the appearance of modern articuators (daviers).
This model features an original turned wood handle, a forged steel shaft, and its articulated hook, allowing teeth to be extracted with a twisting motion. This type of instrument today stands as a true testament to the history of dental surgery.
The set is in beautiful condition considering its age, with a nice period patina. The mechanism is complete and has undergone no restoration.
