Amethyst is a variety of violet quartz (SiO2) whose color results from ferric ions (Fe3+) exposed to natural irradiation. Brazilian geodes from Rio Grande do Sul form in basalt cavities—empty spaces left by gas bubbles in cooled volcanic rock. The filling occurs over millions of years by hydrothermal precipitation. The heart shape is the result of specialized Brazilian craftsmanship: manual cutting in a natural geode, a very precise and laborious technique that represents a significant added value. Visual analysis shows a color ranging from deep to very intense purple (Premium evaluation). The crystal size is 4-8 cm, well-formed, making this stone a reference piece. Marked metallic flashes and bright faces (flashes and shine assessment rated Excellent). The heart shape is well-proportioned, the cut is clean (the assessment is described as very successful). The piece is mounted on an artisanal metal base and supported by a holding arm valued at about €300. The back cover is dense across the entire surface; the assessment is classified as excellent. It is a monumental unique piece suitable for a prestigious collection, an exceptional space, or an artistic space.
