Large Italian vintage gilded wooden dressing mirror, Venetian Baroque style, mid-20th century
Elegant and scenographic gilded mirror, characterized by a wide, richly carved frame with volutes, foliate motifs and rocaille decorations.
The crest features a prominent central pierced element, while the base is adorned with a seashell and numerous ornamental scrolls. The sinuous shape and the warm gold finish make it ideal for entryways, living rooms, bedrooms, boutiques, hotels or classic and eclectic interiors.
Probably Italian-made in the 20th century, in the Louis XV / Rococo Revival style.
The mirror is intact. The frame preserves its original patina and shows small signs of aging and slight loss of the gilded finish, visible in the photographs and consistent with the age of the piece.
